I got a new notebook today. Nothing made me happier. Nothing. I’m going to create my masterpiece in it. And it will give me just the space to do it.
I will take as long as I need to fill each and every precious page.
In my life, I must have filled hundreds of these things. Always for other people. For Mrs. McKenty, we were supposed to keep the drama journals all year so she could have something tangible to grade us on, but I just filled it out the night before they were due. Or a university Voice class, but how many times can you write about tying a string around your diaphragm while holding a piece of wood between your teeth and finally finding your Voice.
This time, I’ll fill it with My favourite subject. What fills me is what I will fill it with. Food.
Please submit your favourite recipes and they will be considered for (three) future publications, as this notebook can only be sold in packages of four.
